Cheeky Stork

Description

Based in Vilnius, Lithuania, we’re a tight-knit team of friends and equal-part founders of Cheeky Stork. We’re green, but learning fast – each of us wears a bunch of hats and all of the work is done in-house. We’ve always been fascinated by games that tie in new, experimental mechanics with traditional gameplay systems, and so our goal is to deliver those kinds of unique experiences with our games as well.

History

In early 2022, we embarked on our gamedev journey with the "The Mixer." Over the next couple of years, we dedicated ourselves to developing the game, eventually creating a vertical slice and starting the search for publishers in early 2023. While our efforts didn’t lead to a publishing deal, the process provided invaluable lessons and insights.
With the game's ambitious scope and our team members working full-time jobs, we chose to temporarily pause development to focus on a smaller, more manageable project. That’s when "Manners Be Damned!" was born. In the process of developing "Manners Be Damned" we had the honor of participatting in the GameTech Accelerator here in Lithuania, which gave us the opportunity to learn from industry veterans as well as provided us with development funding. After nearly two years of development we released "Manners Be Damned" on Steam on November of 2025.
In late 2025 we acquired funding from the European Union "New Generation Lithuania" for "The Mixer" and are currently working on releasing it sometime 2026.
